It’s coming up again: the vote. A time I dread for fear of reading all the negative comments, half-truths and uninformed folderol about people running for city offices. Therefore, let me start things out on a good note. Yesterday, as I drove to work, I saw Steve Pruden out hammering his signs into the ground. I drove by in time to see him notice a sign for Shawn Milne (his opponent) had blown over. Steve took time from his campaigning to pick it up and hammer it back in place. If he shows concern for this city like he does for his opponent — which I’m sure he will — we’ll keep a good man in city council with Steve. Let’s hope all those running will keep their fellow man’s welfare in mind.
