I would like to thank EnergySolutions. Thank you for my son’s job — who has been out in the desert for 13 years. Thank you for your charity and taxes in our county. The people who complain the loudest, have they talked to the people who work at EnergySolutions to see how they take care of the waste? Go to the source. Thank you EnergySolutions in the west desert. Also, I would like to thank Holly Pyne for her letter “Minority can’t rewrite history,” on Dec. 29 in the Tooele paper. We need more love and kindness and the children need someone. God lives in their lives. Thank you again to EnergySolutions and Holly Pyne. May this new year be happy — and our families can still bring home a paycheck.

Hi Tooele, I am a worker at Energy Solutions and have been since October of 1996. By the way I do not glow in the dark from all of the "toxic Waste" being dispsoed of at our isolated site in the West Utah desert known as CLive, Ut. Does anyone remember the Vitro Tailings that sat for years in downtown Murray, Utah. Well I do. As a kid we would drive along State Street and I would hear stories about the tailings. Well guess where the tailings now reside? Clive, Ut. And what is in its place in Downtown Murray? A brand new hospital, Costco, golf course ,etc. If all the tree hugging liberals get their way, we will all be living in caves again, won't be able to watch our nice giant screen tv's etc. Maybe we should be concerned about the natural occurring radiation that is imbedded in the granite stone used to build the Salt Lake LDS temple. No one really thinks about things like that though. The job that Energy Solutions is trying to do is just and safe. In this troubled economy wouldn't a little revenue from European waste that originated in this country be nice to help out. If Heal Utah and other organizations get there way what's next or who's next? Maybe Magnesium Corporation of America, EG&G, Kennecott. One last thought, the Clive site is the safest place that this waste can be disposed of.

Sorry if this makes me an "extremest whacko". I would like to thank Energy Solutions for turning Utah into a toxic waste dump. Thank you Energy Solutions for bribing our legislature with half a million bucks and who knows what was to our new governor to do a 180 and allow this to happen. Maybe God will come along and miracle something so this toxic waste doesn't do anything to our environment or the future children who grow up in this state. It's true that they may put a few people to work but you couldn't pay me what they bribed the local politicians to work with toxic waste. It's called "toxic" for a reason. Weapons of mass destruction come in many forms, greed is one of them.

EnergySolutions is a good company that uses sound science to do a necessary dirty job. They really are good people doing good things safely. Thanks for your support and for standing up to the extremist whackos that want destroy good people's livelihoods.
