My only advice to Stockton Mayor Dan Rydalch is the hands you step on going up the ladder are the ones you have shake coming back down.

I have to agree that the cop is an idiot that thinks he's above the law as well but I also know that he does do a pretty good job at reinforcing the laws and taking orders. No I don't like the cop personally i've had a couple encounters with him but he definitely did not deserve what EX-Mayor Rydalch did. Rydalch really went above and beyond what the cop would ever do!!

Well said, Wilson. I too submitted a letter to the editor but, regretfully it was not published. Maybe it was too harsh. I grew up in Tooele and I think that Rydalch is abusing his power to a great extent. I hope he learns from this and can move on. I am not sure what the other side of this story could possibly reveal except that the officer was acting within the scope and color of his authority and I applaud him for his responsible behavior!

One thing everyone should remember is that there are 2 sides to every story. Unfortunately, the TTB only heard the side they wanted to, which was the cops. I happen to know from personal experience that the cop in question likes to wave his arms in the air and make a scene. I'm not condoning the Mayor's actions, however, it would be nice if the whole story was given.
