To those candidates running for city council in Tooele and Grantsville, where are you? The people that you may be serving need to hear from you. Let your platforms be known so that an educated decision can be made by the voting public. Elections are just around the corner, and time is running out. Citizens of Tooele and Grantsville, I urge you to educate yourselves on who you may be electing into office on Nov. 2. Don’t just vote for someone because you know them, you have heard their name or even because they may be your neighbor or friend. Your votes should be educated votes based on who you think would do the best job for your community. Find out who is running, and if you have not seen any campaigning, call the candidates and ask them what their platforms are. They are, after all, running for positions to serve you — the people.
