Vivian Elizabeth Sheets, beloved wife and companion, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died peacefully at her home on March 27, 2008. Vivian was a friend to all who had the pleasure of meeting her and her kind voice and sweet smile will be greatly missed.

Vivian was born March 8, 1921, in Grover, Colo., to Thomas and Lavern Rutledge. Vivian had two brothers and one sister. Vivian graduated from Tooele High School class of 1939. Vivian married Paul Carmen. They were blessed with two daughters, and later divorced. Vivian married the love of her life Kenneth Scott Sheets on Aug. 24, 1987, in Elko, Nev. Ken and Vivian led a happy loving life together. Ken lovingly cared for Vivian for five years until her peaceful death in the comfort of their Tooele home. Ken and Vivian enjoyed beautiful memories being together and traveling together.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lavern Rutledge; brother, Sherman Rutledge; sister, Zoe Hodgkinson; and grandson, Abraham Demma. Vivian is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Ken Scott Sheets; her daughters, Paula Hassell and Rene Demma of California; her brother, Lloyd (Margerie) Rutledge of California; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Vivian we love you and you will be greatly missed. Funeral services were held on March 31, at Tate Mortuary. Interment in the Tooele Cemetery. Special thanks for the compassionate care from the Mountain West Home Health and Hospice Team. Rest peacefully my love.
