Mary Jean McCabe   PrintPrint  E-mail Story
9/27/2007

Mary will be 85 years young Sept. 27. She was born to Dewey and Daisy Hayes in 1922, along with three sisters and two brothers. She was married to the love of her life, William Edward McCabe, in 1940, in Hebron, Ohio. William and Mary had five Children. William passed away in 1978, he is dearly missed. Mary currently she has 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is a very kind and gentle person of whom we love very dearly. What most do not know is that Mary had a stroke several years ago and has been a tough woman. It has taken her strength and body, but her mind is fine and so is her spirit. She is one in a million. Mary has a love for dolls. She has collected thousands of dolls and there is not much room left for her to sleep. She loves jewelry. If you have a new ring she would be the first to notice it and praise you. Her room is filled with both dolls and jewelry; she has collected them for many years. Her kids are Frank McCabe, Dawn and Eddie Roberts, Katie and Jack Hottinger, Billy Jean Dearing and Colleen McCabe. We all want to tell her how much we love her and how special she is to us and that life without her special spirit would be empty. Love, all five of us.
