Mary Virginia Wicks, age 83, passed away March 11, 2008, in Richland, Wash. She was born Sept. 24, 1924, in Birchwood, Tenn.

In 1944, she married Ed Wicks and traveled with him during his Army career. They had two children, Ed Jr. and Sherry, and settled in Tooele in 1958.

Mary was a caretaker most of her adult life. She loved helping raise her two grandsons, Russell Robison and Dustin Searle. She spent her last 15 years in Washington with her loved ones.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband and son. She is truly loved and cherished. Goodbye Granny.
