Jennifer Christensen is 10 years old and is the daughter of Stewart and RoxAnne Christensen. She made the part of "party girl" in the 2007 season of Ballet West's Nutcracker. Jennifer has been dancing since she was 3. She began dancing in Tooele, and by the age of 5 she was dancing at Salt Lake Dance Center, a pre-professional ballet company. There she dances about 10 hours a week and would dance 24/7 if she could. Last year she was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and with that she developed arthritis in her feet and ankles. She spent a lot of time at Primary Children's Hospital and even got to a point where she could not walk for several months. She was very sick but kept a positive attitude waiting for the day when she could get back on the dance floor. Her hard work and dedication has paid off and now she will be dancing her little heart out on the stage of Capitol Theatre. Congratulations!
