We would like to thank those who on July 14 came to the "open house" of the Humanitarian Service Room which has been opened to serve our community here in Tooele County. Thank you for the quilts, little girls nightgowns, and boys and girls underwear that were donated.
Also, thank you to the group or organization who on the June 14 and 15 donated 200 hygiene kits and those who donated children's slippers and infant caps. The donations are very much appreciated and will benefit many in need. We are grateful for the time and effort spent on behalf of others.
The purpose of the Humanitarian Service Room, located inside the Deseret Industries building, is to provide opportunities for individuals and groups to serve the poor and needy. It is available for use Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and evenings by appointment.
The Lord said, "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Matthew 25:40.
Thank you again.
