Herman F. Teter passed away March 30. He was born May 21, 1918 in College Mount, Mo. Preceded in death by his wife Lena Busico Teter and brother R.L. Teter. He is survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews of Tooele, Utah, Missouri, and California.
Herman was a highly decorated Combat Veteran receiving the Silver Star having rescued and treated injured fellow soldiers while under fire during the Campagne effort in Italy during WWII. Herman was a machinist by trade working in the Aerospace Industry in El Cerrito, Calif. for over 40 years with his wife, Lena. They moved in 1988 to Tooele, to be close to family during retirement.
He will be remembered as loyal and generous to family and friends and always a very Patriotic American. Services were held April 2 at Tate Mortuary. Interment Tooele City Cemetery. Special thank you to all the caregivers at Rocky Mountain Care Center, for their care of Herman the past four years.
