The intersection at SR-36 and 2400 North in Tooele is unsafe and needs to be fixed by UDOT. I was heartbroken to hear about the serious accident involving a neighbor family on Monday at this intersection (“Three victims flown to hospitals after high-speed crash,” Feb. 26). UDOT should install left-turn arrows on the stop lights to improve the safety of this intersection. It is dangerous to turn onto or off of 2400 North because the traffic speed is too fast, the stop light is too short, and there are no left-turn arrows. How many people have to be hurt? If you too have concerns about the safety of this intersection, please e-mail UDOT at srwebmail@utah.gov or call (801)965-4000.
