February 23, 1951 - March 19, 2008

Darold Raymond Dover, 57, passed away March 19 in Ogden, from complications due to heart trouble. He was born to Raymond Milton Dover and Gwendolyn Ruth Golden on February 23, 1951 in Salt Lake City, but was raised by his Uncle Morris and Aunt Arva Nelson.

He graduated from Colorado Northwestern Community College with a degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1985. Darold enjoyed truck driving and spent many years traveling across the U.S. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He married Connie Ahlstrom April 18, 1980, they were later divorced.

He is survived by a son, Kiel Darold Hickman (Danielle), Oxnard, Calif.; and a daughter, Katie Lyn Dixon, Stansbury Park. Two grandchildren, Kaedon Kohl Dixon and Kaesie Lyn Dixon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his aunt and uncle, and a sister, Arva Lorraine Dover.

At the request of the family, a private viewing was held prior to his cremation.
