Wayne H. Steele   Print  E-mail Story
4/24/2008

Our beloved Wayne Hugh Seth Steele departed this life on April 22,2008. Wayne was born October 22,1981 in Tooele to John R. (Bob) Steele and Jennie L. Nielsen. He was the youngest of three boys.

He burst into our lives, full of smiles, joy, and wonder. He had a mischievous smile, a twinkle in his eyes, and loved to tease. He was generous and caring. Wayne was and is an amazing man; we feel our lives have been richly blessed by having known him.

He took an early interest in art and was a very talented artist and musician. He loved skateboarding, painting, drawing, collecting music, and playing guitars with parents and friends. He attended school in Tooele, and couldn't wait to see the world -he left Tooele to explore several times, living in Lubbock, Texas; Albuquerque, N.M.; Washington and Idaho. His family was very happy to see him return to Tooele. He worked as a framer for several years although he wanted to be a full time artist. He was most recently employed at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Grantsville.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his special sweetheart Natasha Allred and his sweet son Simon Sage, his parents, brother, Chris (Kelly Grady), sister-in-law, Monica Steele, nieces Grace Elizabeth and Danelle Jean, grandmothers Carma Harding of Farmington, Margaret Nielsen of Orem and countless relatives and friends who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his oldest brother John, his grandparents Hugh and Betty Steele, and grandpas Wayne Nielsen and Harold Harding, as well as his aunt Sandra Yancey and uncle Greg Herrington.

Viewing will be held at the Tate Mortuary Friday, April 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 26 at 11:30 a.m. at the Tooele Edgemont Church (LDS Church) at 132 N. 570 East. Friends and family may call from 10 to 11:15 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment in Tooele City Cemetery.
