In Loving and Eternal Memory

Ronald Earl Bush was born August 30, 1933 in Tooele. Died April 29, 2008 in Tooele. Youngest son of Jessie Dunn and Lorenzo Lionel Bush. Survived by his wife Myrna Barrus Bush. Married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple, December 2, 1960.

Also survived by children Elaine Bush, Nina Gwynn, and Alan (Debbie) Bush, grandchildren Robert and Samantha Gwynn, Katelyn, Jayden, Cassidee, and Ella Bush, and great grandson Caleb Gwynn. Surviving brother Lionel J. Bush and sisters Laurel Hammond and Erla (Jay) Woods, also cousins and relatives too numerous to mention. Preceded in death by Father and Mother, four sisters and three brothers; Alice Vunder, Wanda Coon, Fern Coon, Marian Stone, Wesley, Charles and John "Jack" Bush.

Ron attended two years at Branch Agricultural College (BAC, now SUU), graduated from Aggie College (now Utah State University) and worked over 30 years with the U.S. Government for Tooele Army Depot and Dugway Proving Grounds. Also worked for Tooele Smelter and Dolomite Lime Co.

Served two years in the U.S. Army. Ron was very active in and enjoyed many sports in life, basketball, softball, track and field football. He was a very talented artist and handyman and enjoyed camping and fishing, working in his yard, and loved all outings with his family. He gave service to many without question and would have given the shirt off his back for anyone.

He was involved in the project to restore the Old Benson Grist Mill and held callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ron was a quiet and polite man, but also a great tease. To our family Ron was the greatest man on earth and he will be greatly missed by everyone he came in contact with. Our gratitude goes out to those who mourn with us at this time and have provided much comfort and healing for our loss.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Tooele 7th Ward, 1025 W. Utah Ave. Friends may call at the church 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment in the Tooele City Cemetery.
