Michael David Mohlman was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force on April 24, 2008 and has been accepted into the pilot training program. Michael also graduated from Brigham Young University with his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Michael served as an Air Force ROTC Cadet at Brigham Young University while obtaining his Engineering degree. He will be reporting for active duty May 9, to Hill Air Force Base and remain there until January 1, 2009 when he will report to Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Okla. for flight training.

Michael is married to the former Kimberly Koerner of Dallas, Texas and is the son of Frank and Lucille Mohlman of Tooele. He graduated from Tooele High School in 2001 and served an honorable mission for his church to Ecuador.

His family and friends are very proud of him for his patriotic heart and his hard work and dedication in reaching his goals. Michael is fulfilling his dream of serving his country and learning how to fly.
