Kenneth Ronald Woodland, 76, died Sunday, May 4, 2008 in Cedar City.

He was born October 8, 1931 in Ogden, a son of John Ira and Pearl May Hillan Woodland. Kenneth married Donna Smith in Nevada. They were later divorced. He was raised and educated in Ogden living in Tooele for the past 14 years.

Kenneth was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked as a mason for many years in the construction business. Kenneth was a member of the Masons. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, building things with his hands, woodworking and leather work. He was a great dad and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons and three daughters, Kenneth R. Jr. (Mary) Woodland, Cedar City; Mark Woodland, Ogden; Betty (Jim) Casteel, Clearfield; Kim Diane (Delwin) Liddiard, Layton; Diana (Loal) Lee, West Jordan; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and one sister, Leon Woodland, Roy; Betty Dayton, Ogden.

Preceding Kenneth in death were his parents, two brothers, John G. Woodland and Larry P. Woodland, and his granddaughter, Melanie Woodland.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
