Della Ilene Blake Hatton our kind and loving Mother, grandma and sister was reunited with her beloved husband Harvard Karl Hatton on April 26, 2008, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Mom was born on October 23, 1919 in the Hinckley Utah home of James and Clarissa Cox Blake.

She and Dad were married on Friday, September 13, 1941 in the Manti Temple. He preceded her through the veil on May 27, 2004. Together they were blessed with eight children, H. Merlin and Vicky of Lehi, Larry B. and Debbie (deceased) of Manti, Nola and Don (deceased) Pace of Grantsville, Ira and Joe Watkins of Morgan, Karlene and Jim Kelley of Magna, Kathy and Bill Reader of Tooele, Lora Sue (deceased), Rita and R. Rudy Garcia of Tooele and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mom was a life long member of the LDS church and served in many callings. She and Dad were honored to be able to serve in the Portland, Ore. Mission. She taught school for 22 years specializing in helping those with learning disabilities. She was also very gifted in music playing the piano, organ and the clarinet. Mom had a beautiful singing voice. She sang with the South California Tabernacle Choir. Among her many talents, were sewing, crocheting and books.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Viewing from noon until 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Tooele South Stake Center, 1025 Southwest Dr. Family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
