Mom and Dad met Aug. 27, 1950, on post office corner in Duchesne, Utah. They knew each other 44 days when Dad was inducted into the Army on Oct. 10, 1950. He returned home Sept. 25, 1952, and they were married Nov. 10, 1952. It was said, "this marriage will not last six months!" Thanks Dad and Mom for lasting six months and then some.
